Benefits Realisation Management (BRM) helps organisations make sure projects deliver real outcomes, not just outputs. The value of BRM is well established, yet for many teams it can still feel difficult to apply in day-to-day work, especially as the pace of change continues to increase.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is starting to shift that experience.

In this webinar presented on Wednesday 15 April, Hannah McBain shared how AI can help lower the barriers to benefits practice, save time, and make BRM feel more accessible and engaging. Drawing on over 15 years’ experience in benefits management, she’ll explore how AI is already being used in practical ways — from helping teams get started, to supporting idea generation, measurement, and agreement — particularly where benefits work is carried out by small or stretched teams.

The session also touched on why AI needs to be used thoughtfully, and how BRM provides the structure, discipline, and value assurance needed to use it well. Looking ahead, Hannah outlined where AI could support BRM next, including greater consistency, clearer portfolio-level insights, and stronger support for governance.

We explored how AI can act as a fresh doorway into BRM — helping teams work with more confidence, clarity, and focus on what really matters.

This was a joint webinar from ºìÌÒÊÓƵ AI and Data Analytics and ºìÌÒÊÓƵ Benefits and Value Interest Networks.
