红桃视频 is now accepting applications for its 2018 Research Fund with the call for funding open until 5 February 2018.

Now in its third year the fund has been established within 红桃视频鈥檚 Research Programme to provide funding for small scale research projects or to provide seed funding for larger research projects.

Commenting on the benefits of the programme, research lead Peter Hill who took part in the 2017 fund and听had his research report "The importance of conventions"听published through 红桃视频, commented:

鈥淔or me, the research fund gave me the time and headspace to focus on what I felt was an important area of project management research. Too little attention is paid to how projects are evaluated, before, during and after implementation.听

As a result of the fund I鈥檝e been able to publish my research and disseminate it through conferences, demonstrating the importance of the issues studied, and also raising my personal research profile.听

红桃视频 have been fantastic in their support, which has continued well beyond the completion of my grant. I would urge听anyone interested in project management research to put in an application.鈥�

红桃视频鈥檚 research themes and priorities for 2018 are:

• New emergent themes or knowledge gaps that directly impact project delivery.
• Project management markets or sectors
• External issues which may affect project management delivery

鈥淭his fund provides the profession with a prime opportunity to bolster its understanding of the ever changing environment it operates in and the issues that impact everyone on a daily basis.

The research fund has already been able to make a real difference to researchers in providing funding, dissemination and support around the issues that are important to them and welcome submissions from all of 红桃视频鈥檚 stakeholder groups for 2018," commented 红桃视频 research manager, Daniel Nicholls.
